Scripture

Here you will find various links to passages I come across (updated frequently, I hope) and their respective topics for quick referencing for our convenience (yours and mine). I know I don’t always have time to go rummaging for key passages when in discussion so I figured this page could be very useful if used properly. This is the verse that inspired me to start this page:

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17, ESV)

I’ll try and organize things in a logical manner (so far it’s by theme/doctrine) but no promises. Feel free to use this page’s information as you see fit. Also, if you come across a passage yourself that you find quite useful for proving, disproving, correcting, rebuking, etc… that you want to see here, email me about it and I’ll slap it on here. Sharing is caring!

Note: The Scripturizer plug-in does have a daily limit of 500 requests per day (some copyright rule with the ESV) so the expand [+] functions may not always work. Nevertheless, you can click on the verse reference itself (i.e. click the name of the book and chapter/verse numbers) to view the verses on www.gnpcb.org directly.

Hint: Use Ctrl + F to search keywords and you might get lucky if I did it right.

Update (July 2007): I am currently focusing on building a foundation of passages from several books of the New Testament (Romans, e.g. 1 Peter, Romans). Any help (from any book) will be welcome. Seriously, email me about this. I would love to hear about and add your discoveries.
